HISTORY

Holy Name Catholic School has a proud and rich Mercy tradition and is Toowoomba’s second-oldest Catholic primary school. Many students are the third generation of their family to attend the school.

We acknowledge and thank the fine work of the Sisters of Mercy, founded by Catherine McAuley, in our past and we wish to carry on their charism by instilling the values of hospitality, compassion, excellence and justice for today and in the future of our school community.
